Unbelievably, 2004 is already well underway. The new year has brought many exciting changes and updates at Sanctuary Lodges Southern Africa.
BAINES' CAMP
This exclusive 5-room water camp is scheduled for opening in August, and reservations can now be made.
Baines' Camp is situated on a private concession in the Delta, and guests will have access to the wide variety of activities also on offer at Stanley 's Camp.
GREEN SEASON SPECIALS
High Season (July-October) is always a popular time to visit Botswana , but do not forget about the great rates available for the current Green Season. This is the ideal opportunity for clients to see another side of Botswana . Summer rains leave the landscape lush and green, many young animals are born at this time, and it is a birdwatchers paradise.

BALLOONING OVER THE OKAVANGO DELTA
Hot air ballooning is now offered at the luxurious and recently upgraded Stanley 's Camp. This exhilarating activity is available in addition to the unique elephant interaction, walking safaris, night drives and mokoro excursions.
Only 8 passengers can be accommodated per flight, so pre-booking is strongly advised. The rack rate for the balloon safari is USD 385. Tour Operator and Agent rates are available on request.

UPGRADE
The extensive structural upgrade and new interior decor at Stanley 's Camp has been completed. Tents have been raised onto wooden decking, offering expansive views over the floodplain. This camp remains unfenced, allowing for unrestricted animal movement. The new decks are perfect game viewing platforms, and invite relaxation in custom-made hammocks.
The new rimflow swimming pool is causing a splash! The pool area features wooden decking for private sunbathing: perfect for relaxation between the variety of game activities on offer.

Chobe Chilwero has introduced a Lomi Lomi Massage and Hot Stone Therapy. All treatments take place in the privacy of the cottages. A treatment begins with a warm, aromatherapy foot soak while the room is set up to create a feeling of serenity and relaxation.
